Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF)
The Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) is Africa and the Middle East’s longest-running film festival, founded in 1976 and accredited by the FIAPF. Each November, Cairo’s historic cinemas — including the Cairo Opera House and Galaxy Cinema — host a 10-day celebration of world cinema.
The 47th edition is expected to bring more than 100 films from over 50 countries, alongside red-carpet galas, masterclasses, industry panels and a competition section awarding the Golden Pyramid.
