Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon
The Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon is 11 and 12 December 2026 on the Giza Plateau. The organiser is The TriFactory with Marakez. The official race page, not a 2025 recap, sets the clock:
- Friday 11 December, 08:00: 5K
- Saturday 12 December, 07:00: 10K and 21K half marathon
- Expo: Mall of Arabia, 6th of October, 9 to 11 December
Older roundups put the 21K on Friday. That is wrong for 2026. If you trained for the half, you race Saturday at 07:00. Collect your pack at Mall of Arabia before race morning. On-the-day registration is not the plan.
Start and finish sit on the plateau with Khufu in the frame. December mornings on the sand start cold. Bring a throwaway layer for the corral. Haram Street before 07:00 is the only sane drive. The expo is in 6th of October, not Nazlet El-Samman, so do not mix the two trips on race morning.
Register on the TriFactory / Marakez race site. Prices move by wave. Ignore Scoop Empire EGP figures copied from an older year until the 2026 shop shows your distance.

Collect your pack at Mall of Arabia from 9 to 11 December. Do not leave it for race morning.
If you run the 21K, that is Saturday 07:00. Friday is the 5K only.
